good old upper hutt . ita been forty years since it became a city , yea they had the govner general come and proclam the town a city, a big parade , and a big party , only thing they had got it a wee bit botched up , upper hutt was 2000 people short , but to late to stop the party when they found that out .
well a feweeks ago they celebrated the citys fortieth birthday they had a concert at a local cossie club so you could only see it if you were a member, they had a photo exibition at the council art gallery . there were better phptos in the local shop windows. and a street party ,a real good crowd turned out , to stuff all entertainment . the only thing that saved the night was the great fireworks, good old upperhutt just about stuffed it up again
